What is this Bimini on B&P?

Making this it’s own thread since it was buried in a thread not specific to this.

Notice how the info button shows one Bimini product and the render shows something completely different. Many of us want this full coverage Bimini without gaps for a little more pop-up shower protection.

Anyone have any insight?

The Bimini is a mesh... meant to cut down on the direct sunlight—definitely not intended to block rain.

It's made by Bestop and they sell it separately as well—

It seems there is a new part for this that doesn't match the old part. It's also available on the Accessories site.

@flip...is there a canvas safari top option...looks like a mismatch in the B&P.

I can't find one if there is. Looks like all vinyl tops with exception of the canvas bimini or twill offerings. Probably a rendering issue in the BP tool. There were a few vehicle cover problems we found in our e-store where the part didn't match the pic or descriptions so we have to change.

This may be something the folks that run the @fordmotorcompany account here can send to the appropriate department to get fixed.

Yeah I was looking this morning - lots of mismatches in B&P as they start adding accessories back in - I'm sure re-priced as well.

It's a bad render

Yeah, it really gives the impression of making a good enough seal with the frame of the windshield so as to protect the driver from a mild rain, but it doesn't.
