What does “in order processing mean”?

I went on ford chat today for the first time and was given this update. “Your order current status is "In order processing" this means the manufacturing plant is preparing your order for production. Once a VIN is produced you will be able to track it.” I have spent the last hour on search trying to sleuth it out, but there is no indication if this just means they have my order or if it means I am about to get a VIN. Can anyone set me straight? Thank you.

My order status said “in process” for 18.5 months. Than four weeks ago it changed to “ order complete”, I received a build date a week ago.

I received the exact same response. Got hopeful for a moment as I have been told "unscheduled clean" for quite some time. I did ask if this meant I would be a 2022 or 2023 and they said I needed to contact my dealer . My guess is no movement on my order. 7/31/20 reservation Badlands, SAS, LUX, 2.7, Tow. Fingers crossed we have to be close but losing hope.
