I use the suction cups as it’s really for occasional use. I wasn’t looking for a permanent solution.
Maybe the contents had changed since when you ordered. They included a sticky adhesive disk for each suction cup. Was wondering why. I don't want to adhere them to the glass on a semi-permanent basis either.

For my use, there are only a few trails local that get dusty enough to warrant the use of chase lights. I didn't want to go through the hassle of installing permanent chase lights that will only get used a few times a year.

Unfortunately, no. They just stick to the back window. There's a video on how they blink on Amazon. I will admit that they are a bit muted because of the tint on my WT, but are plenty bright to be seen from behind.
Could you put them on the outside ?

You can flip the brackets that the suction cups fit on. You could also forego the suction cups and use the same brackets to bolt to a roof rack, spare tire carrier, or other location.

Diode has multiple harnesses for the Bronco.... they have a reverse light kit harness already.
If you're wanting to use them as chase lights, just wire them up to an aux switch & use this flash module in there somewhere....

I'm using that with my Turn Offroad 3rd brake light/chase light....works great

I suppose you could, but I'd be afraid that the suction cups might not hold (the glass being inevitably dirtier on the outside). It comes with a lot of extra wire (between the lights and from the lights to the plug), so that has to be managed as well. Like I said, a good 'once in a while' light, but not something I'd leave hooked up all the time. They are definitely bright enough for the tinted glass.

I asked because I`d be concerned about the defroster grid lines on the inside.

They seem not to be affected by that as much as you’d think

I got these to protect that. I get why you’d want to be careful.

@EIGHTLUG did you ever release that S2 mount? I am trying to find it online.
