Everyone with an order should get an email with an approximated build month/quarter based on the supply/production data from the trailing month. Updated monthly.
They absolutely have enough data to do it.
Yeah, sorry bro. Ford can't even send "in production emails" to bronco orders that are in fact, "in production". I still have not received anything other than the Dominoes Pizza tracker and my dealer confirming.

No I'm with you man! I've had multiple posts in that thread. 6/30 production and no idea when/if I'll get a Bronco. Frustrated doesn't even begin to explain the feeling.

Oh I'm not arguing that Ford isn't also incompetent, I'm just saying that they definitely have the data to handle communication better. Their execution so far is just a mix of incompetence and reluctance to be transparent.
You know if Ford could just give us a real estimate for when our order will be built would be great. Or you know own up that Webasto f*** up and offer a soft top for 2drs and a hard top after they can fix production issues. Maybe

They need to communicate directly with future owners. I had 6/24 Blend date, went into production 6/25, and still nothing! Jack Cooper site shows freight bill created, but pending on ship date. Ford really dropping the ball with customer service...
Lol, I like this post from Ford. If you read between the lines it’s a fairly honest assessment of their predicament.

If it ever comes with an actual hard top of some sort that isn't made out of wishes and dreams, and I haven't bought something else... I will consider purchasing my converted reservation unit. I can guarantee one thing though; it won't be a different Ford product that I get as a substitute, not now and likely not ever. Ford sitting on information that would allow folks to make informed decisions until they are forced at the last second to reveal it is offensive and disrespectful. There are probably tens of thousands of people locked in with deposits (thousands of which are non-refundable) and in limbo on even the year they might get it. In no Universe is this remotely acceptable when Ford promised delivery estimates. Doing the right thing when you run out of other options is not noble. Their excuses. sorry 'reasons' for not being able to produce the units is not the real problem, it is the willful withholding of key information without regard of how it affects real people.

When you think about it, this Instagram posting is incredibly good for the target audience. We are not the target audience. The typical John and Jane Q. Public sees the posting and walks into their closest Ford dealership. There they see a Bronco demo unit. They feel their timing is spot on since deliveries begin in late summer. No one, including the sales rep understand the journey we have been on or the challenges which lay ahead. They order a Bronco and chances are they will take delivery in late summer.
