Got mine for 4/25 this morning via backdoor tracker - dealer verified this afternoon - email arrived this evening.

Be a year next week and crickets on my Base of Bases.

I know, it's the 2-Door that's killing any chance of Ford building mine.
Yeah why couldn't it have been the other way around, with 4-door restricted rather than 2-door. But no, it has to be the version I wanted that's hardest to get. :(

Yeah, unfortunately I think the backdoor link only works if you have a reservation. The rest of us are just out here floating around waiting for an email.

i placed my order on 1/17/22 i have a build date of 4/4/22.... makes zero sense to me with all of you that have been waiting since 2020 for your broncos.....thought id be waiting for at least a year....i got a fully loaded badlands 2.7 MIC hardtop W/O sasquash....

So many bitter people blame ford for you waiting 2 years when u spent your whole life camping out the ford dealer ship to be #10 on the list not the the guys who just want to buy a bronco. In the end we all pay the same amount and have the same reason for buying.

I ordered from my local "small" dealer. They think I got mine, even fully spec'd, so fast because of dealer allocations. The have only ordered 3 Broncos. Something about an email about dealer who ordered 100s of Broncos are getting bumped. But I don't know.

Yet I don't recall any threads showing shots of the large Ford dealers in large metropolitan markets with rows and rows of dealer lot units (vs. Order Holders).

All I've seen are threads of Dirt/Ice/Mud Mountain and videos of drive-by shots of thousands of Broncos...
Nor do you see rows and rows of any popular vehicle anywhere.

Your fallacy of non sequitur aside, as a large contingency of Broncos sitting in lots only means they aren't shipping them, not that they are exclusively or even a majority of reservation builds vs walk in orders. The dealers to which Ford is sending the Broncos could have 500 reservations or they could have zero, the allocation formula doesn't take reservations into account. As time goes on, those dealers getting allocations will go through their reservations and start getting dealer stock with restricted commodities before long term waiting Reservationists at dealers not getting allocations. It seems obvious that Ford is loathe to give up the ability to put pressure on dealers to buy less popular models in the future by allowing dealers to order just the popular models, even though that is their stated plan, to turn into a retailed ordered system, so they will push until as many people give up the reservations at the Non-Ford preferred dealers and move to the favored ones that are getting walk-ins serviced. They will do whatever it takes, until (and only if) it becomes a public relations problem, to drive people from the Stephens, Granger, and other small dealers that aren't on Ford's buddy list, to dealers that are on the list. Ford generated the reservations because they promised a new type of buying experience, they then decided they were going back to the old way of doing business. We will never know if the giant Ford reservation bait and switch was planned beforehand or just sort of evolved, all we know is that it happened and Ford keeps doubling down on it, so far.

To be clear; MIC/Lux/2 doors, etc. will filled for walk-in and dealer stock at some dealers long before the reservations are filled. Maybe then the Ford apologists will finally see the light when the secondary commodity issues are a less distracting wrinkle.
