I'm sorry but why in the world would you think that an "add" for a car that states washable interior would mean take a hose to the whole interior, there are electronics and a computer in your car. It just blows my mind .I'm sorry if that sounds rude but I'm a car guy and would never even cross my mind to do something like that regardless of what the car manufacturer states about washable interior. :/
No offense meant. But this is a perfect example of a reply without reading the comments. I have covered this many times in this thread.

A Ford rep confirmed today that the vinyl seats won't have carpeted backs
Awesome news. Curious to see what the durability and comfort differences are between Badlands vinyl & the leather option. I'm going Vinyl if I keep my badlands reservation, but certainly interested to see the quality difference.

Yeah but now YOU ARE THAT GUY. Just look at the title of this thread you choose to create. You had to go straight to fail with !!!

I am always going to think of how you are that guy and his washable interior issues. Now others started talking about power washing the interior, that image goes to you also. You created the post, now you own the rep.

And the future post where you complain about anything with the Bronco, peeps are gonna bring up you and power washers, and dog ?. Your that guy .

I have read most of the replies, it's not direct to you, I was making a statement about some people thinking.you and I know there are people who will take that to heart "washable interior" and think that it's ok to hose the whole interior because Ford said it's washable.

I'm honored that I will be remembered for something. Maybe I should change my user name to "Washout Interior Guy".:ROFLMAO::LOL::ROFLMAO:

I do have to give the OP credit for being a pretty good sport while many of us have some fun at his expense. ?

At last, someone gets it. (y) What does (washout) actually mean? Is that with a bucket of soapy water and a few rags to wipe down most surfaces or is it blasting it with a garden hose? I think Ford needs to add a disclaimer to protect people from their own actions. This is why you see such things as on a toaster to not operate from a bathtub or a vacuum cleaner telling you not to insert body parts.

That is EXACTLY what I have interpreted washout interior being since the feature was first announced. I don't recall ever saying once in this thread that I wanted to hose out the interior. But people took it as that and ran with it. LOL

My displeasure with the carpet seat backs is it takes away from some of that ability and leaves places for carpet stains or things getting embedded in the carpet like sand or mud. After a day of adventure a damp soapy rag would be so nice for interior cleanup without having to break out the shop vac.

And I will state this yet again so you don't have to wade though the thread. I don't interpret washout interior as the ability to spray a hose or pressure washer to the whole interior. Never have.
Two Quick question regarding the Ford documents:
1) Is the circled info done with a Race Red pen? It looks good, so if it’s Race Red I may have to take a send look.
2) Highlighted portion is Navy Pier? #asking4FEholders.
JK, I just wanted to try to add some levity because it looks like everyone is getting a little hot on this subject.
I am just glad that we have the option for either carpet or rubber floors/Marine Grade vinyl at multiple price levels.
I think everyone has brought up some good points for both, so now this is just another decision that will have to be made.

I have been on internet forums long enough to know you have to have leather skin to participate. People can poke fun at me all they want if it makes them feel better.

Kinda off-topic. But how durable was the bed rug? Did it hold ATF stink? What about red clay?
My truck bed is dented and the spray in liner is ripped up in a few places.
I have one in my F-150 and it is amazing. I've had dead animals in mine and no lingering odor. We don't have red dirt here but i know beach sand, oil and battery acid have no lasting effect on it. Just wash it out.

Hasn't FoMoCo mentioned that the Bronco has 32" (or something like that..) of Water Forwarding capabilities????

If so, everything that could be submerged at the Forwarding Depth (doors off), best be able to get wet without causing any issues and those thing "should" be able to be rinsed off. Just saying....
For those who just skip past several pages......

If FoMoCo said that the Bronco can do this, it's very reasonable for people to presume that they can wash out the interior and not just the floorboards.
