If it's the specs Ford provides to suppliers / partners I would certainly hope it's accurate.

That seems pretty damn narrow to me, but par for the course with obnoxious accomodations for modern crash standards.

Seriously dude if you're going to make up some BS at least be believable. If there was only 6" it wouldn't meet safety regulations. There are literally hundreds of walk-around and ride-along reviews on this site and its more than obvious its anything but small and dark.

I sincerely hope you, and the other people jumping on OP's case, are man enough to apologize when he was proven right.

I’m 5’8 and I found the viability to be fine. As in I didn’t notice it, except that the hood was less of an obstruction offroading than it is in my 4Runner ... and that’s not counting the trail cam, which was fricking amazing

Yes. The fanbois around here are pretty surprising. This is usually something you expect from pre-teens fighting over video game consoles and cell phones. Seeing it from grown ass men is absolutely hilarious.

when the new defender was going through it's show off stage before reviewers got a hold of it, the forums there were just like this. people were complaining about the feel of the door handles, the texture of the centre console, you name it. here you got guys complaining about the rear view mirror and that the they have to wait to get it still in the middle of a pandemic.

OK, guys and gals.....(drumroll)....I was in Townsend today with a tape measure, and the vertical MEASURED distance mirror bottom to dash is right at eight (8) inches.
