Hello all. Seeking a set, or at least a single for drivers side, power ventilated seat covers. Not much current info on the boards and the typical suspects of Amazon and such do not look too promising for quality and effectiveness. Im willing to spend a bit for quality, $200 cap, and certainly not interested in full re-covering of stock seats., which are leather. The seat heat is amazing, best I’ve ever owned, but last 2 summers were brutal, especially for my lower to mid back. Thanks in advance!

I admit I can't think of anything that fits inside that budget. Let me know what you find out though!

I have cloth seats. For me, they were very hot to sit in in the summer. I ended up going with cheap Mabett vinyl seat covers. Yes, they get very hot in the sun - but once they finish searing the outer layer of skin off, they ride much cooler than the fabric did - not too swampassy, much better than the stock fabric. But I will freely admit, ventilated would be much better, so if you find something short of Katzkins I'm watching.

The Mabetts are holding up much better than I would have expected for a cheap set of vinyl seat covers - most people think they are stock and not a seat cover. They fit extremely well. But they are starting to show signs of wear now that I'm a few years into them.

Have you ever tried sheep skin?
Probably the most comfortable seating solution there is. (No, it won't make it hotter). I've used just a scrap piece before, from an upholsterer. You should be able to find one for much less than $200.
You can have a look at a custom fitting one that a friend made for me here,

Follow up…. I went with this. Testing for the past few weeks, this seems like it’s just enough to be effective, and way better than without. One quirk is that the mesh padding seating surface is a bit like the texture of a nylon scrub pad., like the kind used for cleaning non-stick cookware. It’s not abrasive just an unusual texture with the open weave needed to circulate the airflow along the surface. Decent price too.

Won't lie, I'm kinda interested. Lemme know what you think after a few weeks with them.

My Mabetts fit great but are starting to become threadbare/cracked in the front seats on the piping and seams after a lot of use - they probably don't have more than another season in them - this might extend that out a bit.

This may be the ticket to help keep rear passengers cool as well. Nice find
