Hello,

I'm selling three different amps.
Venmo or Zelle for local pickup - Houston, TX.
I'm willing to ship and can invoice via PayPal - all associated fees will be at the buyer's expense.

Rockford Fosgate R2-500X4 - $250
-4channel amp with 75W RMS @ 4 ohms
-I threw away the retail box accidentally.
-However, the amp is still in shrink wrap, and all of the included hardware/accessories are unopened/present.

AudioControl LC-6.1200 - $700
-6channel amp with 125W RMS @ 4 ohms
-Box is opened, but the amp itself is unused.

AudioControl D-6.1200 - $1100
-6channel amp with 125W RMS @ 4 ohms + DSP
-The retail box is still wrapped up in the plastic, so I have no photos of the stuff inside.
-I highly recommend this + the PAC AP4-FD31 if you're looking to swap out your B&O audio system for something better.

Hi-resolution photos for all the above can be found here.
-photos with/without my username + date are there

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Dino

Please explain to a non-audiophile the differences in the amps. What did you end up putting in your BL? Will these work for the B&O package?

The Rockford amp is a budget option...but you'll have less potential volume overall.
You'll need to add passive crossovers to wire all speaker locations (front R/L, kick R/L, and rear R/L).
Passive crossovers will always lose some energy as heat...and that will lower the output to the affected speakers.

The AudioControl LC 6.1200 is just an amp - no digital sound processor (DSP).
It's a 6 channel amp, so you can wire each location individually without the need for additional passive crossovers.
However, the lack of a DSP will give you less ability to fine tune the sound.
You can add an external one into the mix though.

The AudioControl D 6.1200 is the same amp as the above...but has a DSP built into it.
The DSP can set crossover points, time delays, and etc.

You'll want a separate mono amp for a passive sub (recommended) or a powered sub.

I actually went a different route as i had the B&O system.
Adding an external amp is not as simple.
I used the PAC AP4-FD31 to bypass the OEM DSP/amp.
Others have had success with the Zen or Axxess units.
They're much more expensive, and I've had success with other PAC products in the past.
I have an 8ch amp + mono amp + DSP.
This let me keep the center speaker...though I don't think this was actually needed.
I think others have upgraded the B&O system or base system and omitted the center speaker altogether.

As I have the B&O system, I was planning on just upgrading the speakers. But I have read that the factory amp will keep me from getting the full benefit of doing so. But it also sounds like these amps are not my best choice.

The 4 channel one...probably better to inexpensively upgrade the base sound system.
The 6 channel one without a DSP would be OK...but I'd consider adding an external DSP for more control.
The 6 channel with a DSP would be good - I really don't think the center speaker is that important.
But if you must have the center speaker, an 8 channel amp would be needed.
Definitely get a DSP in the mix somewhere though.

No matter what...you'll also need a device to bypass the B&O A2B system.
The PAC one is the cheapest I saw, but it works really well.
I couldn't justify the cost of the others over it as they don't offer any additional features that are essential.
You'll also want a mono amp + passive sub.
I have the Alpine S-A60M feeding the Stinger Tailgate sub, and it works really well.
