Upgrade Audio or Not?

Probably an unpopular opinion but I have the BO system and honestly I’m happy with it. There are other things I’d throw money at if I was looking to do so

I actually don't have an issue with mine either. But, with an off-road 5000lb box on 35's and an unsealed roof, I didn't have huge expectations

In summers in the 80’s in high school I drove a John Deere tractor with air conditioning and a radio. They both sucked but I was blown away by the luxury of both and to this day the best music I’ve ever heard was listening to Guy Clark sing Home Grown Tomatoes in that tractor. I get that same type of feeling in my Bronco. Remember, there’s only two things that money can’t buy and that’s true love and home grown tomatoes.

Clearly the consensus is “anything is better than stock” and “install it if you have it”.

You have the focals. Use them. I pulled all of my focal flax out of my priveious rig and only change was swapping to 3” mid bass in the rear pods. Do it. You’re not going to regret it. You know how good focals sound which is why you have them. Use them. Here’s my setup

1. You have the gear....
2. The noise levels in these is pretty bold. I can't imagine you'll hear much difference. I've been pleasantly surprised at how good the stock system sounds, and I might win the poll of, How much do you have invested in your home hifi? Lol

I'm having mine completely redone. Installer said this is his 6th Bronco install and the others were the B&O system and said those sucked too. I'd do it for sure.

Imo I would upgrade it. I have had my bronco "high package" for about 5 months now and while riding in my f150 over the weekend my wife says "your truck speakers are so much better than the bronco..." That is all the indication I needed to make my decision to upgrade the stock speakers. I went straight to crutchfield that night and went with Focal replacement sets and some boom mats. I have high hopes for the Focals as I used to run Focal polyglass V2's back in the day and they were incredible, but i haven't been in the car audio scene for the last 15 years...
