Compatible with Bestop's 4 door Trektop?

We have not tested against that top. Our Rack mounts to the top edge of the quarter panel and does not interfere with factory top linkage. If the Trekop installs the same, you should have no issues. As for the front, it uses the factory accessory mounts.

Unfortunately no. The rack is designed to carry a tent, basket or misc gear and withstand the weight once installed. The rack can be removed in minutes if needed.

Very nice, I'm interested especially if I end up having to get the soft top. Have you thought about an option of making just the rear section? I like the idea of having some roof cargo and the side sections. That would also allow the front part of the top to open. Seems like it would be pretty simple.

It would be appreciated if you could break the laws of physics and allow the soft top to be opened while the rack is on, that would be awesome.

Will this thing accept any of the industry standard kayak or bike carriers? Thule, Yakima, etc……

This is what I want for the hard top. I don't know if there is sealing issues when mounting the hard top on a bracket like this but if someone had a rack like this that worked with the hard top I'd buy it on the spot. I just hate how all the hard top racks mount to the top of the roof.

I guess I don't see the point. It doesn't look like it has quick disconnects to allow it to lift out of the way if you wanted the top off. Soft tops are purchased for spur of the moment sky access. If I have to pull out tools and spend 5 to 10 minutes wrenching then it seems like a waste.

It looks great though.
