I'm assuming the tube doors are easy enough to take on a off (as are OEM doors) at home? You're referring to just on wait for the doors to arrive?

Never understood the point of tube doors, nor the expense. People afraid they’re going to go flying from the vehicle laterally? You go through the trouble of taking your doors off only to put some welded pipes in the way?

I think it’s more of a look thing why people do it plus it’s more open with added saftey

THe OEM tube doors seem pretty nice. I would probably add a nylon molly panel to the lower portion. Gives you some storage options if needed.

A little disappointed that these are a no-go option for the Raptor, as for the added expense/defeats the purpose of no doors - I need the armrest for my dog to lean on when he's riding shotgun.

I don't see anyone hating on them. Just differing opinions on whether they are wanted or not.
I really did plan to buy a set before I ever took my doors off. Now that I've been running a few months without the doors, I've changed my mind. I prefer open, or not. Around here, Jeeps run top and doors off all the time. Some have tubes but most don't. The look I don't care for is tube doors with top on. It's like you almost want to commit but aren't quite ready.

I'm glad I went doorless before ordering the tubes as it saved me a lot of money I would have regretted spending.

Ohh I know all about that, however at the same time of those photos, it was put out by Ford authority that tube doors would not be made available for Raptor...don't know if that meant at purchase, on B&P or ever.

They would be available at least separately though the Ford Accessory site.

I preordered them and mine came last week. Not cheap, but I used my Ford points to lesson the blow.

I tried to order some thru my dealership, the parts department found them in the Ford Performance Parts, but showed me that they were listed as a non-orderable item.

designing a system of Kydex panels with a manufacturing buddy, they will be excellent.
