I spoke with Ford customer service this afternoon where I was told I did not yet have an assigned VIN but, my status is unscheduled clean. My questions are:

1) Is it likely that I will get a 2022?

2) How many more production dates will there be before the. 2022 model run ends?

I have been told the same thing from the dealer I am going through for 3 weeks now....

Edit, check that, just checked the first email that I was told it was unscheduled clean and that was 6-24-22 ....so a month plus. Ugh

once I dropped my hardtop I received my VIN in a few weeks.
I think you will probably be pushed to 2023.

I dropped the hard top and tow package in an attempt to get things moving. Ordered and put down deposit on 01/11/22

Well you increased your odds. A lot of recent builds have had parts and chip delays, so i assume that has slowed down new builds too. Good luck.

Gonna be straight with you, last year I was told the same thing. I did not get scheduled for 2021, I was told (From Ford Chat) I was unscheduled-clean and would be scheduled next time they scheduled. Spoiler alert, I was not scheduled, and remained unscheduled for another 8 months.

If you ordered this year, you're in for next year or 2024. Unless you are blessed with a high volume dealer conglomerate.

Unscheduled = not scheduled
Clean = configured correctly for a build-able vehicle

Clean has nothing to do with constraints. A dirty build is one that can't be built, like an MY22 with a MOD top, or a 2.7 with a Manual Transmission. Nobody should be "dirty" because the computers won't let your salesman enter it dirty.

Are you likely to get a 2022? Nobody knows, certainly not Ford.

Production run for MY22 currently ends on 30 October. But that date has moved at least twice and can move again.

Given that there are people with orders more than a year older than yours without a VIN, magic 8-ball says "unlikely".
