I was okay until they provided me a build date (of August) and the first ETA of early September. Now it is December and I am still waiting. I did not provide the ETA, FORD did.
I had 6 build dates. I feel ya, but after you have it for a while it was all part of the experience and I really don’t think much about it. Hope y’all take delivery soon 👍🏻

This is probably the biggest bullish!t of botched shipping I have ever seen.
Dealer received 2 Broncos yesterday, 6 total for the week. The two yesterday both had mod bumpers and was build date 9.12 and 10.17.
My trade value is down, interest rate is 5.49 vs 3.84 (84 mos)
I cannot understand how Ford can allow such an F’ed up process…

Have you seen the Jeep (Grand Cherokee) commercials? Offering 1.79% on their vehicles.

Ford???

Years ago folks would order cars and you wouldn't know anything until they show up. Maybe Ford messed up when they gave us all this access to track which exacerbates the frustration of what we think should be happening when everyone is not privy to all nuances of the process that has probably been used by every manufacturer for the past 50 years. If we had no info everyone would have just gone on with life. I’ve been there and looking back, like why were we so obsessed tracking everything? It’s a vehicle.
Just 5 years ago I ordered a new car from Japan. Built, put on a boat, and picked up from the dealer in under 4 months.

When timelines like that are met, I don't need to track. When it has been 865 days since Ford took my money...damn right I want more info.

How much money did they take? I was just reflecting back in hindsight, or my own personal experience. I over stressed about every movement. When you get it, you’ll around and it’s been half a year. If I did it again I just wouldn’t stress as much. I think all of the visibility added to it. Nothing against anyone that is obsessing, just thinking I probably wouldn’t if I did it again, even if it took a year(s) to get it. I know there are Chevy folks doing the same trying to get the Vette, Lightning folks getting the Lightning, Maverick folks getting the Maverick. Funny when you actually build something the public wants it’s hard to come by.

Yeah. No Sh*t. If we did not think it was worth the wait, we would not be waiting........That does not make the wait any easier.

Chicago is one of the largest Rail switching yards in the country. Luckily it is not run by Ford. These Rail companies generally know what they are doing.

Good Luck Everyone! First one to get delivery buys a round!
Rail companies know what they are doing? Not from what I've seen. The company I work for has it's own siding and receives rail deliveries regularly. They have "lost" railcars many times and then they miraculously show up without any notification.

Haha . That is why I said Generally. I have several friends that work for BNSF and they seem to be much better at Logistics than FMC.

Is that the train holding yard for handoff from train to truck? Mine sat in Atlanta train yard for a week before being picked up by truck. I think they wait for a full load going to the delivery area versus delivering one vehicle

Crossing fingers, but probably looking at any glimmer of hope…. Just saw a Northbound train pull out of Barstow. The first 12-14 cars were Car Hoppers, which means those would be the LAST cars to unload, and would be indicative of a final destination train and railyard in Richmond… God I’m praying, but not holding breath.

edit #2
2nd northbound train rolling through, predominantly Car Hoppers… like 100 + cars
