I have no idea what happened this time around compared to last…. Absolutely no hiccups and this time it’s been one after another… I wonder if the rail workers walked off and said fuck it strikes next week anywaysThis is probably the biggest bullish!t of botched shipping I have ever seen.
Dealer received 2 Broncos yesterday, 6 total for the week. The two yesterday both had mod bumpers and was build date 9.12 and 10.17.
My trade value is down, interest rate is 5.49 vs 3.84 (84 mos)
I cannot understand how Ford can allow such an F’ed up process…
I literally had the Barstow train camera streaming all day and saw so much movement it was unbelievable. I have never seen that much movement ever in a train yard. I did see about six different trains with the car hoppers on it. One train left going north that had minimum 150 cars on it That were all car hoppers. No other freight was on it. I don’t understand this.I have no idea what happened this time around compared to last…. Lotta people on this forum have “botched shipping” stories much worse than yours. What makes you special? Chill out..This is probably the biggest bullish!t of botched shipping I have ever seen.

But in the past 50 years building and shipping a vehicle has never been at this level of mess. This is not the 1st ordered Ford we have gotten but the other 2 trucks where given a definitive time frame and it was adheard to. Waiting for over 10 months to build and over 40 days to ship is truly not normal. Also lots of people have other things to do before/when the vehicle arrives like financing, selling/trading other vehicle or making sure they are available to get it. I tracked a BMW in 2005 from Germany to the US, this is not a new phenomenon.Years ago folks would order cars and you wouldn't know anything until they show up. Maybe Ford messed up when they gave us all this access to track which exacerbates the frustration of what we think should be happening when everyone is not privy to all nuances of the process that has probably been used by every manufacturer for the past 50 years. If we had no info everyone would have just gone on with life. I’ve been there and looking back, like why were we so obsessed tracking everything? It’s a vehicle.
What is normal with anything in this day and age? Not much. Back In 2005 you probably would have had by now. I’m saying I was in the same boat and looking back I am reflecting on the fact I was probably overthinking and over obsessed with tracking a vehicle. Hope you get it soonBut in the past 50 years building and shipping a vehicle has never been at this level of mess. I was okay until they provided me a build date (of August) and the first ETA of early September. Now it is December and I am still waiting. I did not provide the ETA, FORD did.Years ago folks would order cars and you wouldn't know anything until they show up.
