It is not just Ford. We lost two vehicles in hurricane Ian, one replacement will be my Bronco built on 9/30. The other will be a Tacoma that was built (coincidentally also on 9/30) but not yet shipped. We put a deposit down the first week of October on the incoming Tacoma that was originally due to arrive early November, now pushed back to 12/3. My Bronco also has been pushed back to 11/24. Interesting to see which one will arrive first.
There are many factors effecting supply chain. I heard the Mississippi River is low and constricting the flow of ships. Grain and other goods now have to also be moved by rail and truck. I can be patient so critical food take shipping priority over my vehicles. But yes, so frustrating to be waiting since January since ordering my Bronco.
I am trying to take the stance like @RicochetJP, just waiting for my dealer to call me when it arrives. Tired of checking and getting disappointed every day for the last 6 weeks
