8/30 here. Maybe it’s an end of the month issue?
Very interesting theory. My email and trackers said I was built 8/20 but the "baby" picture I received yesterday had meta-data indicating it was taken on 8/28 instead. End of month a coincidence??? Not sure why that would have anything to do with it......but a head scratcher for sure.

So you had to be a chip hold no?
No Holds. Sat In Production for 27 days. No Reason ever given. Dealer or Chat always said In Production, Produced. "I don't see any delays at this time" and "It is currently produced awaiting shipping action"
Finally moved to Built on 9/7 and has been sitting since with no real updates other than 5 or so Estimated delivery dates.....

Anyone here try calling the "new vehicle support team" at 800-334-4375? I just got off with a rep on Ford chat and she said try calling that number if dealer or sales manager is unable to give you more info on the vehicle's whereabouts.

Anyone here try calling the "new vehicle support team" at 800-334-4375? I just got off with a rep on Ford chat and she said try calling that number if dealer or sales manager is unable to give you more info on the vehicle's whereabouts.
I called them Nov 2nd. Another waist of time.

I called them Nov 2nd. Another waist of time.
Actually, I just got off the phone with them and they are way better than chat or dealer. After 6 tries contacting chat and 4-5 to the dealer in the last 5 weeks this was first time I ever got straight answers from anyone about my Bronco.

I was able to confirm it is still at plant and not on the rail. She said to call back and when it updates as on rail she can give the railcar #. She also gave me my price protection certificate # and informed me it expires 12.31.22 and would need to discuss with dealer if for some reason I am unable to purchase the vehicle before year is over.

I ordered my Wildtrak in May of 2021. I got it just this past monday!!! 11/7. Definitely worth the wait.
I was informed that it would arrive between 10/26 - 11/1. It was a week late.

NICE! I just called them as well.......no wait, got my price protection certificate number. SCORE!!!! Makes me way more comfortable having that in hand being able to take to the dealer when my Bronco arrives. Thanks!

I've called them and they generally tell me the same info as chat, Built.. released...awaiting shipment...eta *insert latest change of dates*, congratulations on your Bronco. Then when I start asking questions, there are no answers other than the standard ask your dealer line.

More Ford customer service tales:

So I just texted with my dealer who told me again 'rail delay'. I replied "Bullshit just Ford trying to pawn it off on the shipping company"

His reply: "I agree. Ford's doing whatever they can to blame everyone but themselves. I had a customer car come in the wrong color and they told the customer they ran out of red so she should just take black. The customer said I don't want black - So I called Ford they said to me - its a 2-door, she should be happy she's even getting it - I almost fell out of my seat!"

Now let's just hope our vehicles arrive by the end of the year so we don't have to fight the dealers for an extension on the price protection!
Or maybe we will qualify for 2023 Price Protection Certificate as compensation for the long wait! Wishful thinking!
