9/19/22 thread saying they are being told Microchip hold. One user called out there may be a relation to WildTrack builds?

We are not on chip holds. We are all in “released” status. Anyone who is on a chip hold still shows “in production”. Ive confirmed several times with ford reps and my dealer that released means its just waiting on a ride to the train…

Yes, according to phone support my 4dr Area 51 hardtop Wildtrak with 9/19 blend date was produced on 9/20 but now waiting for microchips to arrive at the factory so the vehicle can be finished and shipped. 10/11-17 ETA.

8/16 Blend date. Received “Built”notification. Bronco has been “released” and is waiting for rail transport to NY. Missed 3 delivery windows so far and my rig still hasn’t left MAP. Customer Service keeps blaming rail issues and said that there’s nothing they can do. Dealer says that they’ll get it “any day now.”

I was on Ford Chat just on Tuesday. Blend 8/15, built 8/20 and still sitting in "AWAITING SHIPMENT" mode........40 days almost. Ford Chad told me my VIN wasn't showing ANY holds and that shipment was just being arranged........or possibly final QC checks that needed correction before shipment. My dealer said he was going to call their Zone rep to double check. My dealer even acknowledged this is all BS but then told me it isn't terribly bad yet as his pickup was 65 days from built to delivered. Oh, well, I have waited over 800 days now, a couple of extra weeks won't kill me.

ive read digging through forums that some people never got the shipped email and was under the assumption they were sitting at MAP the entire time until their dealer called them saying their bronco has arrived... but all in all its odd and shouldnt have to wait this long for a car to leave a plant

This is true but it has only happened to convoy people. Have yet to see it happen to a rail person.

My 2 Door base was built on 6/24, shipped in early July and sat in Illinois for 3 weeks then was routed to Portland due to the embargo. on 8/31 it arrived in Port Richmond, CA. It has sat there for 30 days now with no word on when it will be delivered to the dealer. Dealer knows nothing about when it will be delivered. Ford knows nothing about when it will be delivered. Ford says there are no holds on the vehicle. I keep asking Ford if they can confirm a truck was ordered to deliver the vehicle. They say they have no information. Every week I get excited thinking it will arrive by Friday. Ford changes the date every 4 days as it approaches the end of the last range of dates they provide. Whenever the date is about to pass they change the date so it can never be called late. I am 70 miles from Port Richmond and my Bronco is now 8 weeks past the estimated delivery date from when they sent the shipping notification. Reserved over 2 years ago and trying to be patient but at some point it runs out. The ship dates are an estimate, and the delivery dates are even more of an estimate. It just shows up when it shows up it seems. I keep waiting for some sort of notification through Ford Pass when someone starts the vehicle and either accepts or declines the registration of the vehicle. So it's been 3 months and 1 week since it was built and I have no idea when it will be delivered.

Yeah I find myself at a new level of frustration now that my bronco is built but is just sitting there.

If it were not for the 6k in accessories sitting on my floor, I'd be half tempted to walk.

Thought I’d start this considering I’ve seen broncos from multiple build weeks in this status for long periods of time. Tell us how long you’ve been in this status. If you waited a while but did finally take delivery, tell us how long you were in this status. Im on day 16+ awaiting shipping by rail to NY

36 days for me... just trying to forget about it since school started back up and hope it shows up unexpectedly
