Hi RagnarKon, thank for putting this together. One thought, the current flow chart is:

Should it be order or reservation as of Sept 9, 2022? E.g.

Then the actual order date also had to be before closing of the MY23 order bank, of course. Which was something like mid-November 2022.

I had it correct at one point in time, but somehow through my various copy/pasting with all of the updates it got lost. I have now corrected in the first post.

Damn it -- I'm going to have to send this off to my accountant to figure this nightmare out. So -- my original order of 1/31/22 puts me in column B ($2595) and column C ($1500), but not column D as the special order date on the window sticker shows 03/14/23, but how does that fit in with the order modification of $2500 (I went from lux to high and removed the hard top for a soft top) and the military discount? I sense a rather large opportunity for dealership shenanigans here.... I sure as hell hope my build isn't occurring tomorrow or Monday -- after the St. Paddy's weekend. Just saying, but Ford quality may take a hit here for a few days...

According to the Ford Military Appreciation site, Military discount not available on Bronco or combined with Private offers. Post up if you hear differently.

The $2500 is a private offer very similar and functions the same way as the column B amount. The way I understand it, it just gets added on top of everything else. (But admittedly I haven’t read the program text for the $2500 offer.)

Sorry for the long post and this might be a dumb question, but does the speaker delete -$250 option factor into Column C at all? Do I get the full $2000 regardless or would I only get $1750 to bring the mid year price increase back down to the MSRP when I had to switch to 2023?

My order is a 2-door Basesquatch and my original order was in January 2022, so I fall into Column B and C.

My window sticker generated on Tuesday 3/14 and shows the MSRP is $46,050 (which includes the -$250).
Back in September, my 2023 re-order MSRP was $44,300 and my original 2022 order MSRP was $41,205.

In my case would it be:
Sticker MSRP $46,050
-$1750 (Column C Retail Price Protection to bring the price down to match my 2023 MSRP $44,300)
-$2845 (Column B Private Offer)
=$41,455 (which doesn’t match my original MSRP)
or
Sticker MSRP $46,050
-$2000 (Column C which brings it down to $44,050)
-$2845 (Column B)
=$41,205 (which does match my original MSRP)

I’m going to be contacting my dealer, so I want to make sure I account for everything and I wondered if they’ll say anything about Column C bringing the price below what my order summary showed for the 2023 re-order.

This is for corrections not reflected on the sticker. There's not going to be an EXTRA deduction on TOP of the deduction already displayed.

The short answer to your question is your second calculation is correct:

Sticker MSRP $46,050
-$2000 (Column C which brings it down to $44,050)
-$2845 (Column B)
=$41,205 (which does match my original MSRP)

Slightly longer answer...

All of these calculations are based on the sticker price of the vehicle, including any option deletes that occurred due to constraints.

(Sticker Price) - (Column A, B, C, and/or D) = Corrected MSRP

The reason why the Private Offer didn't originally bring your 2023MY order down to the 2022MY pricing was because of the addition of the 7-speaker sound system. It is effectively something extra that your 2022MY Bronco did not have, so they charged you for it. Now that the 7-speaker sound system has been removed due to constraints, your 2023MY Bronco is effectively exactly the same as the 2022MY Bronco, and therefore the prices are the same.

The same thing also occurred with Wildtrak. Many Wildtrak order holders noticed their private offers didn't bring them down to the original 2022MY pricing. The reason why is because HOSS 3.0 became a standard option with the 2023MY units.

That makes sense. I completely forgot that the 7-speaker system was new for 2023.

Sales rep sent me a worksheet and it shows only my $1,995 Private Offer which that number is correct. But missing my extra $1,500.

Original Order 1/20/22 4 Dr Black Diamond Body Code E5D, Non Sasquatch. Final Trim I changed in December 22 was to 4 Dr Badlands, Body Code E5D, Non Sasquatch.

Build Date 3/3… Sticker Date 2/22.

I should be getting the column C $1,500 correct?

Yes.

But just to double check before you have a long annoying conversation with your dealer... look at the destination and delivery price on your window sticker. If it lists $1595... that's the original price and you aren't eligible for Column C. If it lists $1795 (which it probably will), then yes, you should be getting the Column C amount.

In which case your final selling price should be:
(Window Sticker MSRP) - ($1995 + $1500) = (Final MSRP)

Yup, you are eligible for that $1500.

Your dealer may not call out that extra $1500 on their paperwork—I know mine didn't because it is retail price protection, and they apply it automatically. So just double check their math and make sure your MSRP is $3495 off whatever the sticker price is.
