Turning Off Infotainment Screen by Default ?

I really wanted that button to be there - having to dig through the settings to turn off the screen is awful.

I have a ‘23 8” base audio. Here’s what I got, a damn ASS button…

Same unfortunately. I guess I'm not surprised that since I asked this question 2-1/2 years ago, someone at Ford came to their senses and added that button.

You have vent selection buttons! My ‘25 has one button like that for vents and it makes a vent menu pop up on the screen and I have to toggle vents from there. I guess they were short on real estate for real buttons.

I do admit I like the vent buttons. Sometimes I think I would like the dual zone climate control... but ... I don't really miss it, and I would hate having to go through the touch screen for the climate control. I do like the buttons.

I used a piece of black poster board to cover mine. Made it slightly larger than the screen so the trim plat keeps it in place.
