Why does GM offer one basic vehicle in five brands, up to 7 trims each? Don't try to make sense of automakers.

I can't imagine trying to pore over Equinox/Acadia/Blazer/Enclave/Traverse/etc brochures trying to figure out "ok the panoramic sunroof is available on SLT2 and higher for the Equinox, LT1 on Acadia, unavailable on Blazer... But a heated steering wheel requires Denali for the Acadia while being available on Premier for the Enclave...."

Well, they trimmed it as a Bronco for every adventure but not a Bronco for all adventures. i.e. you can rock climb or Baja, you wash out your interior or have carpet and power seats, you can have semi luxury but don't show up outside the mall with painted flares or they'll laugh at you on the trails (supposedly).

Honestly, I don't know we really could have had 3 versions, base/sport/lux and then just allot of options to personalize and I think we'd been happier.

I was trying to justify the Badlands and WildTrak as the 2 "top" trims. Then I realized that the WT had the painted top and the BL didn't. Then the OB did and the BD didn't and thought "Hmm" ...BINGO! The Baja/Rocks GOAT mode made part of the whole thing click (or scrape if you will).

Wondering why it might look weird. I lined it up pretty well on the PC. But on the phone it looks all wonky.

It's a fork: main branch is base to big bend then it branches to either (black diamond to ballads) or (outer banks to WildTrak).
