Happened one of the times we went as well, but we live one town over.Last time I was there I came back broke and married.
The route is set in stone because everything is reserved and paid along the way.Maybe rework your plans… stop off at folks places that already have theirs and go for a ride with them. Granted, no one is gonna wanna let you drive after seeing what you did to yours.![]()
Enjoy the roadtrip. Obviously not how you wanted to do it but it can still be epic. Hopefully you will get good news when you return on your Bronco. The route is set in stone because everything is reserved and paid along the way.
Beyond that, I think I need to forget about Broncos altogether for the next couple weeks. There's potentially bigger problems looming with it besides the botched trip so I'm a bit dejected.
So you got the child restraint recall too huh.The route is set in stone because everything is reserved and paid along the way.

I sucked up a massive rock above the tire which trashed the brake system.Sorry TD.
damn.
what did I miss what happened to your bronco?
No haven't seen that one yet. I'm jumping to worst case scenario here, but there's a non-zero chance it gets totaled over firewall damage. They're saying the booster got shoved up and may be affecting the alignment of the push rod.So you got the child restraint recall too huh.
Ever contact insurance about this incident that happened in your driveway? No haven't seen that one yet. Yeah I've opened a claim.Ever contact insurance about this incident that happened in your driveway?
I'm told there is no recognized procedure to fix it and a body replacement would be required. Personally I'd bend it back into place and add reinforcement, but Ford can't.Find someone with an identical model and have them measure level / angle of the booster itself compared to yours. As far as totaling it - with the values these things are ar right now, I doubt it would be totaled.
Regardless - good luck.
insurance claim and go to a good collision shop with a frame machine experience.Yeah I've opened a claim.
