For 'manual' changes, you may need to contact them more than once. To transfer my reservation has taken 3 calls, but am now assured that it IS working thru the system. Had to be done manually because my reservation credit card is no good now, so they couldn't automagically refund it....still waiting for the email.
This also happened to me. I called on Jan 7 to get it changed but because my card changed it has to be manual entered and just today it finally shows as switched.

*MORE UPDATE* - 1/27

From Bronco@ to me:

We're aware of a small number of Bronco reservations mistakenly converted to orders by a small number of dealers. Reservation holders must provide consent to convert to an order, and we encourage all customers to have a discussion with their dealer on the terms of the sale before placing an order. If the customer is unable to resolve their concerns directly with their dealer, they can call the Ford Customer Relationship Center at 1-800-334-4375 to change their order back to a reservation and maintain their timestamp, change their selected dealer to a new dealer, or both. We also are reminding our dealers of this policy.

Isn’t that the same statement from 1/21? https://www.bronco6g.com/update-from-ford-about-dealers-converting-bronco-reservations-unexpectedly/

It is, but it's just what his Ford rep is giving him. I actually saw the email to him from them stating what he already knew. Tom has been working with me to get my reservation, that got converted to an order moved, and has been very helpful. I was the Guinea pig that tried the other process that was outlined yesterday regarding the creation of a new reservation and having the timestamp from my original reservation moved to the new reservation. And then today the guidance got changed again to go back to calling the 800 number. I called the 800 number many times over the past few days and every time was the same thing - you must talk to your dealer. The dealer would tell me the same thing, 'I literally can't change it, and my Ford rep is telling me they have to do it there'. So I got the back and forth over and over, until Tom CC'd me in a conversation with Bronco@Ford - They asked me a few questions, and then a few hours later (about 15 minutes ago) I got a call from someone that was able to make the move for me. I'm supposed to get a confirmation email when it's done.

What I don't know is if they'll be moving my timestamp to the new reservation, and deleting my old reservation, or if they move my original reservation to his dealership. Time will tell.

Congrats. Still no resolution for me. I'm fearing the worst.

Appreciated. I'm happy with my current dealer. My problem is a that dealer #1 cancelled my reservation AFTER I transferred (NO COMMUNICATION, NOT AUTHORIZED!) Current dealer cannot convert to order. I'm going to let my current dealer continue to work this for now. But thank you! Sooo stressful!

So what is the new process? Editing a new reservation or fixing and moving the original.

I know if u cancel an order in wbdo, it moves back to the portal where the reservations sit, but the “process offline” button is grey’d out...let us know how u make out #thisShouldBeAHappyTime

Yeah, I have a case number. But I figure it’s just waiting in a pile, till they figure out the best fix. I’ll call again if somebody says they got it done.

So, I placed my order last Thursday with a local Phoenix dealer. When I asked about the order number the salesman told me that he should have a VIN in 3-4 weeks when things get scheduled.

I logged into my Ford account today and checked My Reservations & Orders and there was my Order. Only it was not the model we agreed upon. I ordered Badlands and the website says it is for an Outer Banks.

I plan to call them in the next couple of days but wondering if this means they are monkeying around with my order to fill someone else's or if they plan to claim ignorance in 8-10 months when it is ready...
Peter, there's another thread here where a couple members had the same problem. Go back, or call your salesperson. According to the other thread your salesperson can edit your order easily. Don't wait too long to contact. If that doesn't work call Ford Customer Service. The numbers are listed in this thread.

Here ya, I found the link

Has anyone had a successful transfer yet? I called ford early on Monday and still haven’t had anything change..
Yes, plenty of them...its very frustrating, though...sometimes it takes 1 call, sometimes it takes 10...depends on who you get @ the 800#...once they agree to the transfer, it takes about 15-30 min to show up in our online portal
