Trailer Hitch Lock

I’m attempting to search for a trailer hitch lock but I’m not sure all types will fit.

I’m thinking this won’t work because of possible clearance issues with tow electric hook up:

Maybe this is the style that I’ll have to use:
Master Lock 2854DAT 5/8-Inch Receiver Lock https://a.co/d/4JsD1pO

Anyone have a good recommendation?

I have a Masterlock similar to this (although with a thicker bar). It takes a little finagling to get the bar in around the electrical connection box, but it's not too difficult. I put it in with the bar from the left side and the lock on the right (to be able to reach the lock with the key, of course). I've had this lock for a couple of previous vehicles so it wasn't worth discarding it for another type, but there may be better models for this application.

I’ve been using the Factor 55 branded one for a couple of years now and been very happy with it.

Curt 23504 Right Angle Lock Set.
I've used it multiple times, the right angle lock cylinder fits perfect next to the trailer plugs.

I ended up going with the masterlock. The Curt 23504 would work just as well. Something with a right angle lock seems best. They didn’t really leave us many options.

Glad to see that I'm not the only one who had this issue and didn't have a solution in mind! I noticed this last night and it was driving me crazy!! I tried every angle I could think of and couldn't get my existing lock to work.

I didn't know they had such a thing as the 90 degree lock. Very cool. Will be picking one of those up soon... thanks for the feedback everyone!

Will this work with the Factory OEM Hitch though?

Seems like it would not with the access being blocked on the left of the receiver pin hole?
