Trail sights accessories?

I'm still waiting on mine but lately I'm seeing alot of builds all looking the same ,mostly because of limited aftermarket suppliers bronco script,lights in bumper and hood your never going to use,bumpers that weigh 300 lbs ,it seems like everyone is scrambling to make theirs different but they all look the same.
Just because they make it doesn't mean you have to bolt it on ! Maybe try making something in your garage ?i think you'll have much more effect at the cars and coffee that saying yup 4wp did the whole thing but I wrote the check .Just my thoughts continue with regularly scheduled program.

You've gotta admit that the bronco script badge does look pretty good though!

Other than that I think you'll keep seeing this or bone stock builds for a while. I know my (alleged) Bronco will stay mostly stock for quite some time.

I understand, but I can't think of anything I would add. Hoping to see ideas and if they would be useful. I have survived off road fine without them and I like how the body looks when they aren't there.

If they become useful, then cool. Or I can can keep explaining to people what they are there and why I don't have anything mounted to them.

I can say that I like the Dee Zee mounts for lights. Temp holder for lights when I need them.

I think your logic is a bit flawed here. Just because you survived fine without them off road before doesn't mean they're not useful as what they are (trail sights), just need to learn how to use them.

I've had a few Jeep guys ask what they were and they've been super impressed when I explain the function.

The thing is people are going to ask what that gap between your hood and fender is anyway (I assume there is already an aftermarket filler part). I guess you can just explain it WAS a trail sight and have the same conversation....

I don’t know if I’ve seen it or just imagined it, but it seems like a high lift jack mount would make sense for some people (I like the roof platform better for this, but I could see it working with the trail sights)

That would be fun to see in a crash.... Always wondered when jeeps mount it right next to windshield across their hood how that does in a front end collision.

Yeah seems dicey. In my head I see it as a quick throw on/take off thing for off roading not so much a daily driving accessory. Again I plan I putting my Jack on the roof platform personally.

My thoughts are just based on what I do. I dont think opinions are flawed. I not trying to argue about it, just looking for a reason to keep them. For what I do, the trail sights arent really necessary. They seem more of an accessory themselves if they dont serve a more consistent purpose.

As far as how it will look when removed, that's also an opinion. But dont the body lines look very close to 1st gen without them?

This is why I'm keeping it stock for a while. Haven't seen Gumby in a long time!

I had a 75, I would say the fenders look like EB fenders with or without the sights. They definitely don't take anything away from the look for me. If you're wanting to be a purest on the fenders, the flares need to come off too.

I'm not really trying to argue either. Take them off if you don't like them, that's your choice. I just don't agree that they don't have a function and I personally think they look cool anyway...

Our AR | RUTS will be a game changer. Similar in ethos to our other parts, this will be modular. You'll be able to spec: flush, trail sight, Picatinny + Accessory point right out of the gate. This way, you can run the flush for a clean look, and with a swift removal of one screw, swap out the 'topper' to the billet Picatinny + Accessory 'topper' to mount a HiLift jack, antenna, flag, etc. The base plate that's mounted of the body of the Bronco stays in place.

We'll have detailed renderings for the RUTS on the product thread, after Christmas. Trust me, this one will slap!
