I’ve seen this is a feature with the 2.7L engine option only. Has anyone seen anything explaining what exactly this is and how it’s used? I would assume it only works in 4 low at low speeds like rock crawling but it’s an option on all configurations whether they have rock crawl mode or not. Sounds like a neat feature but probably not very useful in most conditions. I’m also wondering if this feature gets its own HERO switch to turn it on.

Basically you only work the throttle and the vehicle applies the brakes automatically when you lift.

That way you don’t have to work both peddles and run the risk of rolling back off of something you just climbed.

Sounds like Hill Start Assist (like on a manual car) but on steroids.

I assumed that’s what it was, I just haven’t seen anything on it from Ford yet specifically showcasing it like they have the trail turn assist

I think it may possibly be the opposite. I found a video on the Ranger's "trail control" and, if its the same(ish), it looks like you set your speed and brake when needed.

However, I have been wrong before, just ask my wife...

I forgot I watched that one! TFL did a good test of the rangers trail control compared to a Toyota TRD. Now I’m curious if this is what trial one pedal is, I’d assume so.

That’s a separate feature from one pedal driving. Bronco has both.
