I searched, but didn't come up with much.

Anyone know if I can swap out the TPMS sensors from a base bronco (16" steelies) to some aftermarket alloy wheels and new tires? Would save me about $150, which is more than the base wheels are probably worth used to begin with.

There is nothing special about most TPMS sensors. My Badlands ones moved right over to my RTR wheels. I've always had factory ones moved without issue on Toyota, BMW, and Acura. Use a reputable tire shop since if for some crazy chance you buy an exotic wheel that won't accept a factory Ford TPMS they can at least get them done on the same day. Lug nuts, on the other hand, are somtimes an issue. My RTR's required new ones. Read the Manufacurter fine print.

Yes you can.

If you put the TPMS sensors back in the same position they will start working immediately. (ie. Passenger front TPMS of the old tire is used in the passenger front of the new tire.)

If you don't put them back in the same spot it'll take a bit for the TMPS system to automatically relearn the correct tire positions, but it should within 5-10 miles or so.
