I am installing an American Adventure Lab battery monitor bracket for the house batteries in my 2025 Badlands. It mounts using the rear TP50 hard top bolt and the TP20 Bolt just forward of it. The TP20 just spins when I try to remove it. Before I start tearing into the side panels to get to the other side of it, can anyone tell me its purpose or have a photo that illustrates it?

Many thanks.

I could be wrong, but I think those are the guide bolts for the hard top?

I was thinking the same thing. The American Adventure Lab bracket uses them, along with the rear TP50 hard top bolt to secure their battery monitor bracket. I guess I will be pulling the cargo area side panels to get at whatever nut is holding them in place. There is always more to every project.

If you have to remove them, you might be better off taking the hard top off to gain access.

Removing the hard top does seem to be the best path. Thanks for the guidance and direction.
