I recently found a First Edition for sale but it is almost double sticker. I can’t decide if it’s worth the money. Morally it’s not right but after my test drive with the bronco I’ve been missing it ever since. I have a reservation but it will not come for another year. To add to it I’ve been looking to trade in my 17 Raptor and this is the best price I have received. I feel like if I wait my tuck will be worth a lot less and I would be stuck waiting a year. Any thought on weather I should or shouldn’t do it?

Wow, no way would I pay double sticker, regardless of build, regardless of trade-in value.
Even if the value on your Raptor goes down 50% (not gonna happen), you would still be to the good on paying only sticker even for one a year from now.

At double sticker, I wouldn't do it just out of principle....you are in PA, order one from Chapman at 4% below invoice and pay less than half of that 1st Edition deal in about a year....and get to pick your colors/options etc...

I wouldn't even consider it. Thats insanely priced. I wouldn't pay a dime over MSRP for a first year Bronco considering all the issues that have been bubbling up. This isn't going to be some collector's item. Patience will pay dividends as by the time you get one, it should be truly a solid vehicle.

just mail me the money you were planning to spend. that will solve your problem. why are you asking complete strangers about what will probably the second largest investment of your life? are you looking to make what you think is a bad decision and then relinquish responsibility to someone on the internet who you have never met. also if you are looking for some good advice, i need a little information first, name, date of birth, social security number, address and your mother's maiden name. also your annual income and your occupation. I'll look into this for you....

So what you are saying is..... logically speaking of course.... if you are going to get an extra +/- $5k for the trade on your Raptor, it's worth spending an extra $60k+ to get a 1st Edition?

Shit, have at it.

You can't be serious about the double the sticker price. Are to super rich where thousands and thousands of dollars mean nothing to you? I have a bronco and granted it's awesome, but I would never pay double for it. That is just ridiculously stupid

There’s no way I’d pay double the MSRP - That’s insane!

I’d be willing to pay maybe $5k more if I could find my build right now, but outside that, forget it. The sad thing is, someone will pay that… Hopefully it’s not you!

Either you're trolling us or you've plenty of money. But you're concerned about your Raptor trade-in value . . .

No that's crazy, just wait a year it's not worth it to pay $50-60k (probably more if there is financing involved) to drive a Bronco for a year.
