Torn half shaft boot - drivers side

Probably a fluke but Only having it 2 weeks it was a bit of a bummer. But Ford is taking care of it under warranty.
Glad I noticed it early. Was looking things over for doing my first (break-in) oil change and saw this. But again, I contacted Ford they got me right in and they confirmed it was the half shaft boot and are taking care of it.

This isn’t uncommon

I tore one when it got hung on a stick in the mud.

They very commonly tear when people install lifts or coil overs due to overextension.

Makes a huge mess for sure
