Both are great looking bumpers. I'm seeking the least "obtrusive chin profile". Most compact.
I have the Lux package, but I can care less about adaptive cruise control, already disabled.
I would appreciate any and all input on your experience with these bumpers.

From above:
Also, Warn's description of the difference between 8K, 10K, and 12 K pulling capacity is vague.....
I spoke at length today with a Warn customer service person, who was a little weak in the actual basic design and performance capabilities of said winches. But what I understand is all 3 winches have the exact same exterior dimensions, and the same motor. The only difference is the gearing. Which is a mathematical equation to pulling power and line speed. The same as adding a pulley.
Why not go for the less expensive 8K winch, then add additional mechanical multipliers as needed?
Please educate me as I know there are extremely knowledgeable persons out there.

I went with the ICON bumper and Warn ZEON 10s winch. At the time I ordered the bumper, I thought it was the least protruding bumper with a tight winch mount. The Warn bumper looks pretty good, but some pics of it make it look like it protrudes quite a bit farther.

Regarding winches, unless you anticipate being buried to the axles in mud, the 8k winch should be adequate. I went with the 10k because it was only about $100 more and has a little less load/no-load current draw. The dimensions of the 12k/10k/8k ZEON winches are identical. This leads me to believe what you were told regarding internal gearing being the difference.

Having said all of that, I haven't installed my bumper/winch yet. I just brought home my Bronco and I'm working through the mountain of parts I accumulated...

I went with the Warn Zeon platinum 10. Only because it was on sale through Napa. Delivered for $1400 to my door. Otherwise, 8 would have been more than enough.

I was actually looking at the old Warn M-8000. With synthetic line it’s very light at 55 pounds.

Yeah, that’s not bad for the protrusion aspect. Too bad it’s not for the 2.7L. I’m gonna stick with an OEM modular bumper. If I can ever find one…

I’m sure it fits, but like several others it looks like it blocks airflow to the intercooler.
