Just be careful on how many amps you are drawing. Feel the power plug (usb c side) after using it a bit and see how hot it is.

I would install something like this with a 50amp relay feeding it.
This was one of my exact ideas. I was thinking of running two fuse blocks... One directly to the battery and the other to the timed circuit so that it would still be powered after shutting off the Bronco but for only so long.

At work, we used these to wire up all the electronics in the trunks. They have a timer that will shut everything off after X minutes OR If the voltage drops below a certain amount.

Copy that, appreciate the heads up. My dumb math says that a typical USB is something like 2A at 5v, so stepping up to 12v will drop it down to about 0.8A which isn't much at all. Luckily for me, the remote unit for the Tekonsha wireless brake controller that I need to plug is only has a 1A barrel fuse in the cigarette lighter plug, so it's borderline but will probably work just fine. I hope :confused:
