I have a OBX 4 door with a soft top and went to a Ford center to get my fenders painted. I was told they can't guarantee the paint to stick. What were you told? I thought about the bumpers also ...

Honestly we haven’t even discussed the fenders yet. Top was my primary concern. Basically since 7/13 reservation lol Owner of the shop was concerned with painting the top until he came by and touched the top himself and he was like that will be 10 times easier than a Jeep not near as much texture to deal with

Funny, I’m thinking about having a paint shop do my top white as well. Have sort of been an irritant talking about a white top on the forum for almost 2 years now.

Since I’ll be wheeling it, have had concerns about what type of paint, but haven’t done a lick of research into how well it would hold up on the top or what the cost would be, then how to maintain it.

What has your shop told you about doing it?
