In no way should you be flying it under those power lines. You're just asking for trouble as it's hard for avoidance sensors to pick up those power lines. I've seen a lot of videos where others have discovered that.

They’re saying that to force us to buy the less quality American drones…FYI, the U.S. government has designated DJI as a "Chinese Military Company.” High probability information is going back to China.
They aren’t. Do the research you’ll see. Also look at telecom equipment (home and business)…similar results. They’re saying that to force us to buy the less quality American drones…
It absolutly does. Before I retired, flew mapping and research drones for the Army Corps of Engineers. We were not allowed to purchase ANY drone or drone equipment from China. As soon as you turn it on it tries to hit the Chinese servers. American compines make exellent drones. I have used drones from Skydido, Sensfly, Parrott and others and all have proven to excute the missions they were built to do.FYI, the U.S. government has designated DJI as a "Chinese Military Company.” High probability information is going back to China.
Agreed, but parrot does make a consumer grade drone. The ANAFI, that is much more resonably priced (or at least it used to be). It is not cyber hardened and the camera does not have quite the resolution that the ENTERPRISE versions have. It is at the price point that most folks can afford, somewhere between 1 and 1.6K if memory serves. However, you make a valid point.@sirdude : Those companies you mention make decent ENTERPRISE drones. Skydio stopped selling recreational drones to the public a while back. The other companies have really never sold rec-style drones. A normal flyer cannot spend 10K~15k for a drone.

There’s many other products developed in China that harvest data and send it back - home routers/modems/wifi, mobile equipment, security cameras, TikTok, etc. I’ve been watching the Bronco to see who it’s communicating with…more on that later.
