Technical - 3rd CHMSL light changes

Changed out my CHMSL for diode dynamics c1rs

now i get left rear turn lamp feedback, i'm pretty sure this is related to the center high mount stop light.

does anyone with aftermarkets like TURN off road etc, know if theres some sort of resistor added into the signal path?

I have 3 C1rs.
2 on the spare an 1 in the hitch.

All three receive. Running, rev and ground from R tail lamp using SVP tail lamp adapter.

Spare tire lamps get bright red trigger from the SVP adapter
Hitch bright red trigger is from factory rear fog light button

All three can have white rev trigger from upfitter as well.

no ghost signals so far

How did you tap into it? Did you tap in at the 3rd brake light? if so that's most likely your issue.

You could try using our in-line connector. Plugs inline with the factory tail light and gives you a 4-pin harness that works with all the diode dynamics lights. C1, C1R, C2, C2R, etc...

It's not designed for 3rd brake lights but you can extend the wire up

Thanks I have 2 of your harnesses actually lol. One for left. One for right. Guess I need to go back to this. And having my 3rd brake light flash with turn
