Submitted my order 3/27, let's see if it ever gets built

I work for a large chain dealership with many brands being sold. I'm friends with a salesman at our Ford store and I finally talked myself into buying my first ever brand new car. I didn't want to settle like I did when buying my Fusion so I went all out on everything I wanted! 2 Door, Wildtrak in Eruption Green, leather, high package, etc.

I have no issues waiting a while for it to be built (the longer it takes, the bigger down payment I'll have.) My only biggest concern is being that its a 2 Door Wildtrak is it's one of the most heavily constrained Broncos and the more I read your posts the more I doubt I'll ever see my truck! I guess in a way I just wanted to rant here because I know some of y'all will have the same experience!

You never know. I have the same build in 4 door. Took me 933 days from reservation to build. Forever but it did get built. It literally got scheduled 3 weeks after Ford sent us the email telling us to take everything off the order that I really wanted or risk losing my reservation timestamp and price protection money. Worked out good for me, hopefully it will for you as well.

I didn't have to wait quite that long, 500+ days but had pretty much the same order. 2 door Wildtrac, switched from Lux to High during Ford's scare tactic, but have no regrets. I'd be replacing speakers and updating the sub anyways. Finally got scheduled last week.

I ordered the same thing with lux and tow. They will build it eventually. The constrained items won't be constrained forever. If there are perpetual constraints, people will just buy different rigs. IMO if there were no Sas or WildTrak, many people wouldn't even bother with a Bronco. SaS is a unique selling point so Ford is going to want to fix whatever reason is causing the constraint asap.

My biggest fear is waiting a year and having my order cancelled like everyone says will happen if the order isn't filled by end of MY23 production
