Stuck without my Badlands

Got my VIN#, got my delay email, can not change order.

original build date july 26, delayed to Aug 16 then to Aug 30th per my last email. Called my dealer saying their side shows Sept 27th and I am sure I am going to get delayed further. I did not want to switch to a soft top and accepted the delays but this last delay saying "you get it when you get it" really got me wanting to change my order to a soft top. I finally called the dealer to change my order and they said tough luck because I had a VIN # already.

Anyone have any luck changing from a hard top to a soft top after a VIN # is assigned?

My Bronco has not even been built yet!

Yeah you’re screwed. My OBX has been held hostage at Dirt Mountain since 8/5. I don’t expect to see it until November/December.

Yeah once you have a VIN number you’re locked in. Welcome to limboland.

Only option is to place a second order… which you won’t see until late 2022 at the earliest. So best to hang tight.

That's just the way it is. Ford has already accepted your order so your unable to change it. It' have a VIN now its just in Ford's quere for when it gets scheduled to be built.
