Do you happen to know what the back windows are tinted to from factory, are they 30%?

Looks like it's around that, based off this thread. I'm sure there's other too.
Yep that's the thread I had been basing things on. Some good notes about heat rejection on the factory tinted windows as well.

The rear windows are closer to 15%, I work at a shop in the Orlando area.

Can you look into a clear ceramic film for the inside of the windshield? had this done to my P.U. and it really helps here in the southwest. Local shops here are really high $ for window tinting. Jim.

I have access to the template, but 75% VLT is the lightest color I can get.

That would probably be fine, that is probably what they used. I really can't see any tint to it at all. It's very effective for heat. If you have a template for it maybe you could hook me up and others also. Thanks. Jim.

Hey Jim. Would just need a commitment from some people. Ceramic is the least popular choice and lower percentages are also less popular over darker options.

We may be at a low amount of people wanting to purchased it. I would definitely install it on ours because I don't want all that heat robbing our vehicle of it's youthfulness 🤣.

I was skeptical at first until I had felt the difference with and without the film on the windshield. Yes you want it as clear as possible to have good visibility and not attract the tint police. I understand your concern about enough volume to produce the product. If I don't feel confident to diy I'll probably pay to have it done, it's well worth it. thank you for you're efforts. Jim.

It's going to be a large piece. I'm on the fence about it!

I'm sure once the word gets out about how well it works they would sell well. If you already have the template the only thing would be a shipping tube. It may take some time to get the word out. Jim.

@StickerFab any plans to make a tint kit for the windows on the hard tops? I know they're darker than the fronts from the factory but I would still like mine a little darker.

I almost know the answer but is there anything that can be done to the windows in the soft top?

Well I looked at the material from the supplier again. They list the 75% VLT, but have nothing available. Their more expensive ceramic material is 70% VLT.

I have added an eyebrow option (2 piece) for the front windshield today.

I have added these options. Thanks.

Unfortunately I do not think so =/.

Can you tint soft tops?
Answer 1: If the soft top is plastic, you’ll need to use tail light film. This is really the only viable option, and many tinters believe that it’s not worth the effort. This is because tail light vinyl typically offers poor levels of clarity and is quite expensive. In addition, mistakes can be costly. Replacing a soft-top roof can be quite a drag, so you may want to research the cost of a replacement before you accept this job.

If the panels weren't as wavy as they are, there might be some OKAY solutions. However, I wouldn't advise anyone to go this route.
