Speaker & Navigation Removal

Looking at buying a Bronco and the specs have a negative price for "Navigation Removal" and "AM/FM 6 Speakers, SDARS". I'm trying to figure out what I'm losing.

6 speaker SDARS is no subwoofer, with a $250 credit. Navigation removal with a $50 credit, Im guessing because you can get it on any package, is losing the "connected navigation" which most people will likely never use because all Bronco's have car play and android auto standard. If it's the $600 credit for navigation removal, then that should be a LUX package with "Built-in connected navigation" removed. Same as above along with removal of the GPS antennae.

On the Lux package, built in Navigation has been removable for a $695 credit since at least last summer due to the chip shortage. I deleted it on mine when I reordered in September as I have external GPS units that I prefer over the Ford built in unit. I also have a Bad Elf Pro GPS that links Bluetooth to my iPhone or iPad and works with numerous mapping apps. Linked to my 12.9” iPad Pro, it works fantastic as a main source of Navigation when I’m lake boating or offshore in the Gulf of Mexico. It’s better at picking up satellites than my iPhone 13 Pro.

Do you still have HD Radio if you remove navigation? I'm wondering if they just installed the High trim APIM instead of the Lux APIM when you did that and kept the other Lux options.

I would guess so but I will let you know when the rail yard figures out how to get it on an auto transport for the last 25 miles to my dealer. 7/20/20 reservation first ordered 1/29/21, 11/22/22 blend date.

Did you ever get your bronco? If so, do you have HD Radio with the nav delete and Lux?

I did get it with LUX and nav delete. I’m not even sure if it has HD Radio as I stream everything or use Sirius.
