So, after having driven down the road with my soft top unlatched (duh) and flying open after air got under it at about 40mph, I added a little reflective tape to the header bar. When latched, can’t see it. But for my dumbass, I’ll know when it’s not locked down.

Ya know what? Good solution. I've backed my top in to the garage twice now. Any tricks to stop doing that? 😂

I’ve done the same thing twice in only two months of ownership! Thankfully only the latch part just hits the garage door seal trim.

I put my garage door opener up high by the latch so I try and remember, but I’m sure to hit it again.

You need to raise your garage. Seriously mine clears by about half inch when folded back. I have a two door with Bestop top. But I forget to latch mine down sometimes idk why. I come off beach and get distracted by bikinis I guess

I decided it's that I'm lulled in to this false sense of security with the beautiful weather and the wind in my hair. That's when the garage strikes...

Any chance you use Billy Howell as your service provider? I did the same thing (once) and took it up there to get a look over and they told me someone else snapped the front mounting points clean off via garage interference.

Mine was not a serious impact thankfully but it definitely required a realignment.

Hahahaha fortunately no, that wasn't me. Mines just bent a little funky and takes some extra love to close all the way. Sounds like I've got a window cracked at all times though... 😂

Totally stealing this idea. I've done the exact same thing!! Sometimes it's just because I'm lazy and want to shade my seats while I run into the store for a refreshing beverage. I get on the road leaving the store at about 40mph and BAM!!

Maybe a mirror on the back of the garage wall, (like a closet door mirror turned sideways) that you can see in your rear camera? It might catch your eye that something doesn’t look quite right… 🤷🏻‍♂️
