Soft top brackets

I have a 2025 big bend. When I fold the top all the way to the trunk, there is some play in the brackets. More on the driver side bracket. I’ve tried strapping them so that there is no play, but no luck. Is it normal for the brackets to have play after clicking the bottom bracket into place? The only reason I ask is because it makes some noises when I’m driving. Like clicking noises. Thanks!

Mine has a little play as well. I strap it down to eliminate the rattles.
Going to try placing a piece of foam there.

Near the tailgate? Yes. As well as the ones on the frame
