Slide Out Tailgate Questions & Sub

I’m looking at the slide out tailgate. Does anyone have the slide out tailgate and a tailgate mounted sub? I have the stinger sub and am curious if there is room for both. If you only have the slide out tailgate. Any chance you can get the gap measurement between the closed slide out gate and the actual tailgate? Finally, if you have the slide out, any regrets? It’s expensive enough I’m assuming it’s built well and won’t rattle like crazy, but I’d love to hear some reviews.

I had the slide out tailgate added to my order for an Outer Banks as I needed a way to reach the roof when loading my kayaks. It is very solid. One need to be careful to pull the tailgate all the way out so it locks in place. A couple of times I have not done that and it slides back in when laoding. The slide out tailgate does not rattle if you make sure you push it in fully so it locks in place.

I am not sure what you mean by "tailgate mounted sub/stinger sub". I can measure and report the width of the gap between the slide out tailgate and the actual tail gate, but it is not much.

Thanks, that would be great! Here are some pictures of a sub enclosure like the one I have. I think it will fit, but it will be close. I’m curious about depth and height, because I just need either to clear.

I did it last month. It fits very close, but it does all fit!
