Signature light led ring

Are the signature light's LED rings a constant brightness regardless of what switch position the headlights are at? Does the LED rings dim or become brighter depending on on if the headlights are set to on, auto or off?

They get brighter when headlights are on, but position on the switch does not matter. When headlights are on and you put it into park, they dim a bit back to DRL levels. Otherwise they run at a dimmer DRL level when vehicle is on and not in park.

You can turn off DRL via the settings.

Strange because they work just the opposite on my Bronco....they are dimmed when the headlights are on....

Here's the story...

I installed a set of signature headlights on my led equipped Black Diamond. What I'm seeing is, when the light dial is set to 'auto' the LED ring of the signature headlights is at its brightest. When the dial is set to any other setting, the led ring dims. For example, when the dial is set to the parking light setting, the led ring is dimmed.

Just trying to see if the signature lights work the same when installed on a Bronco that wasn't equipped with them from the factory.

just went to check and they are brighter in parking mode than headlight on mode. I forgot about parking mode when I wrote my first post. I think you’re all good.

So basically, just as long as the signature DRL headlights are on, the signature's DRL LED ring will remain dim.

The LED ring will be at its brightest ONLY if the headlight is off.

At night, the led ring will never be at its brightest due to the DRL auto on headlight once it starts to get dark out.

Thanks. Now I just have to go into forscan and figure out how to keep the factory fog lights on while the light dial is set to auto/DRL
