Seat height adjuster broken

On Saturday I went to move the seat height adjuster on the driver's side, there was a pop and it stopped working. I have only ever used it twice before so it is quite disappointing that it has failed already. Has anyone else had this happen?

Ha, This same thing happens to me Sunday. I've only used it maybe twice. I was able to jam it back in and make it work. I'll have service look at it with the next oil change.

I didn’t have the seat height break, but the front passenger seat won’t recline (incline?) forward unless you pull on it. Also heard a pop. I suspect the spring snapped off its mount
