Trying to see if I'm over thinking this and if it's worth mentioning to my dealer. It doesn't go fully through.

Obviously seat belts are important and mine has what looks like a slight burn/imperfection. Would hate for it to be a weak link that gave out in an accident.

My sister in high school around 1999-2000 had bought a old maxima and the seat belts where like that. She took ot to a dealer and they replaced the seat belt. Something to do with a federal mandated safety item like that the manufacturer has to replace and it did not cost her anything. This was not bought at this dealer either.

I am convinced Ford can not spell QC. At best they think it stands for Quarterly Count as that is the only thing the sr leadership seems to put a spin on.

peace of mind man. definitely get that replaced.

The belt webbing was probably damaged when manufactured and was missed as it was turned into a seat belt. Easy swap out.
