Halo effect. Why do companies race? Why do they always market the special edition or high end versions? Even if you go lower/smaller, you still associate your purchase and the product identity with the “lead dog”. I don’t care about owning a “Warthog” Bronco or racing a Bronco prototype at KOH, but I love that Ford is doing both 👍🏽
It goes back to that ol saying
Win on Sunday
Sell on Monday.
That formula works.

Waiting for Ford be all...'JK JK, there's no production delays....You get a Bronco, You get a Bronco, You get a Bronco, Everyone gets a Bronco!'
That just reminded me of this meme

It’s not that complex of a concept 🤷‍♂️
Funny, I don't think it's that complex to spot the difference between what you are saying and what some others are saying.

No one on this thread said Ford should advertise their base model. It was a discussion about (possibly) not being able to deliver on the Squatch after pushing it really hard.

This is specific to Badlands and I may be in the minority but I think the 33" BFG K02s on the upgraded BL wheels look better than then the sasquatch setup.
Agree!

Agree. Unless you will be doing serious rock crawling, 33s will be perfect.

Its been discussed and discussed and discussed... I agree with you, but thats probably because I like a more classic look. I prefer less bulge out the sides and SQUATCH comes with those huge flares that change the look considerably. If they were smart they would include a model (next year) that has taller profile tires yet remains close to the body.

X-
285/75/R17 KO2s. 34" tire ready for round 2 on the BL.

Who's upset? Seems only the OP might be a touch upset.
Not really. Just thinking all the builds and photos have the 35’s. They don’t have to show the others, but you would think they would be testing them as much as the Sasquatch.

This thread is hilarious. Everyone all upset because of an anticipated shortage of parts. We don't know for sure that the sasquatch will actually delay any orders. The deadly items list is what Ford thinks may be short in supply. THings could change greatly with supply before anyone has a build date.

Sasquatch is not late availability just supply chain issues are possible. Looking at the thread you would think the black top will be available same date as Sas.
Not upset, just hope Ford is testing the non-Sasquatch like they are the Sasquatch.

When you’re promoting something, you promote the best of it.

No one wants to see a base 3 Series...we want to see a fully optioned M3.

It’s not that complex of a concept 🤷‍♂️
Is the Badlands not best? Maybe not tip top best, but still best.

Honestly think there is so many because its actually a great value for a new off-roader.

I've never been into myself, I'm a racer. But I know how much it is to swap out suspension, new diffs, new ratios, get it all talking and I know its never under factory warranty... I already had one bucket of money, so the Bronco offers a platform where I can get a 'pro-sumer' level off-road package in a factory warranty package.

I truly think the allure of a legitimate offroad setup under factory warranty for 7k is a great deal and an easy sell to like 70% of buyers

Ford Bronco Sasquatch.....why so many. No wonder.......... cage-glasses (1)

There's too many self-Indulgent wieners in this city with too much bloody money! Now, if I was driving a non-Sasquatched Bronco ...

You would not be a self-indulgent wiener, sir... You'd be a connoisseur

Is it really that high of % getting the SAS? My dealer is a little over 35% getting SAS and that's over 220+ orders. I imagine it will be similar at other dealers. I think seeing the BD or BB in person might change a lot of minds and will look much better proportioned than in the pictures. With that said, I have ordered the BL with 33s.

Little known fact: the upcoming Subaru Forester Wilderness edition was Fords influence for the Sasquatch package.
