So just getting into my bronco build:
4 door black diamond sas

Here is what I want to do:

17x 8.5 or 9" wheel with 0 offset. Staying 35s with 12.5" wide. Wanting to stay future proof and be able get 37s next year

I have hoss 2.0 suspension but long term will get upgraded to possibly 3.0 or equivalent

I cant find many confident answers. Is this something I will have rubbing issues With on and off road? It is my daily but may plan some trips to do heavier wheeling.

Stock SAS wheels have a 30mm offset.
Going to a 0 offset wheel moves the sidewall of the tire out (away from the frame) 1.8"

Just changing the wheel offset will not improve clearance for 37" tires.

Not sure what your question was, but I am confident in these answers.

Actually going to a 0 offset most certainly DOES improve clearance for 37’s. It moves where the tire hits as you turn left to right.. nothing to do with straight-on.

37’s on the stock +30 offset will fit fine sitting in the driveway but when you turn the wheel that’s where your rubbing starts. That’s where moving the wheel (and tire) outboard 30mm avoids that contact

What I've been told (!) is that if you want 37's, you'll want 18mm to 0mm offset to move the tire out, and preferably a 2" (shock, perch or body) lift (maximum... for tie rod angle). So if you're future proofing your rim purchase, 0mm, while maybe a little much (too much scrub radius? more wear? 🤔), you should be fine. It just won't be the only upgrade if you want to fit full stuff and turn.

Having successfully run 37’s for over a year both on and off road I can tell you that a 0 offset is just about the perfect spot for max clearance help. Any more or any less and you run into issues turning.

Adding a 1.2” hub-centric wheel spacer to the stock Sasquatch wheel gives you the equivalent of just about a perfect 0 offset without having to buy wheels.. so that’s an option.

And yeah, for success at full articulation off road you’re also going to combine it with additional lift and relocating the wheel well liner at the rearward side of the front of wheel wells further aft by way of the JKS kit or similar.

Sorry for the confusion. For now I will continue to run 35s. I just wanted to make sure I was future proofing myself without causing any issues. The lift will come with 37s but I don't want to buy rims twice

I anticipated a lift when 37s came. I just didn't want to buy wheels twice.

Anyone know if this will cause interference with rokblok flaps?

Mud flaps of any sort that are mounted to the inside of the wheel well right behind the front tires are going to work against you when it comes to rub. That’s the place you’re going to rub the worst so adding material there rather than removing it is going to make it challenging. Not sure where or how yours mount, I don’t have mud flaps

I'm at +18 and 37s and clearance is great all around but it did require the JKS delete.

Just a lift will not allow clearance for some 37's.

That piece of the JKS kit that relocates the rear part of the front fenderliner is clutch.. that’s a big chunk of plastic it takes out for sure. A sawzall can mostly handle the rest lol

Ahhh yup looking into jks delete. That is exactly where they are mount lol. I'm super new to all of this. I'm trying to learn as much as possible. Will an offset change interfere with that bar behind the front tires?

Offset will only make that clearance better but I spent 30 seconds with a sawzall and a can of paint and fixed that. If I’m not mistaken the JKS kit instructions direct you to cut that off too
