My window is not sealing all the way at the top on my rear passenger door. I took it to Ford. They said it’s fine. Nothing wrong with the window. Said the foam rubber is worn out. It will be $1000 to replace the rubber including labor! They said I could get this stuff in a spray can that will “puff the rubber back up and make it like new” from any auto zone or parts store. But when I went there, they said they have never heard of anything like that for a door seal. I’ll post the picture below of the rear door that shows the top part of the rubber where it’s a lot thinner and it looks almost “pinched” and the other picture is the passenger door with the normal rubber and the window is fine. Any suggestions? I really don’t want t to spend $1000. The rubber part itself is only a couple hundred bucks. Labor is what the problem is.
