Hello!

I am looking for some advice from Bronco Owners who have been tracking this closer as I've been having a hard time even guessing when my vehicle will be delivered (I understand that no one knows exactly, but I can't even guess if it will be 2022 or 2023). Any advice/guesses will be much appreciated!

My original order date was 8/16/21 but had to reorder MY'22 on 10/18/21.

Order:
4 DR Outerbanks, Lux Package, MIC Hard Top, Tow Package, 2.7 L

Does anyone have any educated guesses as to if this order would most likely be in 2023, or is there some hope for 2022?

Appreciate any advice!

It all comes down to dealer allocation at this point. Find out how many reservations they have and what number in their line you are.

Depending on dealer allocation and what I have seen with these specs, maybe late summer or fall ‘22

Constraint list in importance. Keys to getting scheduled.
  1. Dealer Allocation - production constraint. #’s of Bronco’s allocated to the dealer based on production constraints and dealer sales history.
  2. Buildable package - commodity restraint. Does your build spec include commodities that are constrained.
  3. Time Stamp constraint - are early reservation buyers ahead of you as it relates to dealer allocation that have a buildable package.
  4. Priority- are others ahead of you in retail priority set by dealer for dealer allocation that have a buildable package

Well I can't speak for dealer allocation, but I ordered 2 door WT Lux Mic 2.7 mod bumper on Oct 13, it has been built and estimated delivery between 1/14 and 1/20. I never did ask my dealer what their allocation was. Good luck!

Thanks for everyone's quick replies!

I gotcha - I've seen a few times that making sure the order number doesn't start with '99' as those ones aren't buildable or are sitting on hold... mine starts with '11', so I'm hoping that's a good sign!

Wow!! Happy to hear such a quick turnaround especially with the MIC. Enjoy - another happy Bronco owner!

10 is best priority that a dealer can set so that is good. Dealer may not tell you where you stand in their allocation but you could ask how many have they sold and how many have been delivered. Based on what daddycreswell post could be sooner if they have allocation. I would check with the dealer periodically and see if they show scheduled. I ordered from a dealer in good allocation with not a lot of buildable orders and got scheduled quickly. I ordered 12/13/21 and have confirmation of scheduled build week of 2/14/22.

Yea I think mine had just about every constraint there was, I was worried it was going to be a long haul.

Drop the Tow Package, it’s a constraint and can easily be done after receipt. I got a build date immediately after dropping it.

Don’t confuse your order number with the priority code. Priority code is only a two digit number in a box on your build sheet appropriately labeled “priority code”.

Thanks… I just checked and it’s 99… guess I’ll be reaching out in the morning in an attempt to get that changed as well as dropping the tow package as @BadBradBronco recommended.

Thanks all! I’ll keep everyone updated!

I reserved in July 2020 and ordered that same build in March of 2021 and re-ordered in October at a pretty large dealer. I still don't have a build date. So who can say! Like everyone else has said...it mostly depends on your dealer's allocation at this point.

Nothing on your build calls for the “do not build code” (99). Most these sales people don’t know a whole lot about the Broncos. Don’t let them tell you the MIC makes it unbuildable. It means you’ll just have to wait longer. Code 99 means Ford’s system won’t even look at your order for consideration at being built.
