Is there anybody that makes a storage bag for the 2 door roof panels that actually fits? I can't get both panels into mine at all. It is way too tight. Just threw it into the trash. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mine fit just fine. Maybe you have the 4-door bag ?

They used to fit until this year. It was always tight but i think it shrunk somehow? I haven't washed the bag, i just keep it on a shelf in the garage.

Mine fit. First time is tricky but once you get the hang of it it's not so bad. I've voiced this before on other threads on this forum on this same topic but the Youtube video by the gentleman with the 2DR was invaluable to me in visualizing how the tops fit. Well worth the ~10 minutes or so IMO.

The curve of the panel matches the curve of the bag. That is the simple trick. Yes, it seems tight until one realizes how they are tailored made to accept the panels. It only took me a time or two before I figured it out.

I bought a second bag because of this. I also have the painted top so I’m more cautious with the panels damaging each other. The garage storage bag seems larger then the on board bag it came with, but i haven’t put both panels in it to compare

I had the exact same problem until I figured out that I was putting the panels in wrong. Once I turned them 90°, they went in pretty easy and I felt like a dumbass because I had almost given up. They were snug but not enough to interfere with anything.

I use 2 bags. Easier to use, and the felt divider is garbage anyway.

I bought 2 of the front panel garage storage bags on the Ford site before I realized they each hold both panels.

Anyone using the garage bags in the Bronco cargo area? Ford says don’t do it on the lawyer label because injury may result. If they went flying in a wreck, maybe.

I was thinking of stacking them in separate bags and then throwing the cargo net over them. I will probably improvise a little foam protection outside the bags on all 4 sides, just in case they shift. This setup would be for casual drives where I don’t need the cargo area for anything else. Up until now, I’ve just been leaving them at home. I have the white painted top.

That's surprising that you said that because there are detailed instructions in the manual telling you how to properly secure the roof panels in the back using the attached hooks and straps on the bag. There is nothing mentioned about recommending not doing it.

That’s for the on-vehicle storage bags, which they aren’t selling anymore. These are the ā€œgarage storageā€ bags.

Ohhh okay. I stand corrected sir! I thought they all were still coming with the on board storage bags. Thanks for setting me straight.
